James Raftery

James is the Chair of NETSCC and Acting Director of SDO, HSR & PHR programmes (Service Delivery and Organisation, Health Services Research, and Public Health Research).

He was previously Director of the Health Economics Facility at the University of Birmingham.

His research interests include the use of modelling in evaluating healthcare interventions, economic evaluation alongside clinical trials, and the use of routine data in health technology assessment.
