Remit Advice

There will be cases around the boundaries of programme remits where the most appropriate programme for your research idea is not obvious. You may like to describe your research idea on the on-line remit check form we are piloting, and receive specific guidance. There is an option on the form to submit your remit query to the programme you believe may be the most relevant to your research idea (as well as a ‘don’t know’ option).

remit check form

The purpose of the remit check form is to help you direct any remit queries you have to the right programme. Completion of this remit check form is optional and entirely separate from any subsequent application process. Any information submitted on the remit check form will not used for any purpose other than providing remit guidance as to the most relevant programme for any subsequent research application you decide to submit. Feedback will be advice on the appropriate NETS programme for your research idea, not feedback on the content or likely outcome of any future application.

Alternatively you can contact any NETS programme direct for remit advice.
