The HSRN Symposium is the field's premier knowledge event. The event features presentations and discussion at the leading edge of health services research.  This year, for the first time, the Symposium is followed by the NHS Confederation Annual Conference and Exhibition.

Speakers currently confirmed include:

  • Professor Peter Brocklehurst, Director of the Institute for Women's Health, University College London (presenting the Birthplace in England Research Programme)
  • Mike Farrar, Chief Executive, NHS Confederation
  • Professor Mike Cooke CBE, Chief Executive, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust

Day one of the Symposium highlights new and emerging HSR, and considers the research landscape. Day two explores the application and spread of innovative practice. There will be opportunities to network and share experiences with colleagues at the evening drinks reception.
