HS&DR programme: Board and Panel members

It is essential to the success of the HS&DR programme that research priorities and projects are chosen in a clear and fair way, embracing the latest expertise, knowledge and opinion. It is also important that those choices address demonstrable and significant need in the NHS. As a result the HS&DR programme relies on a large number of people, both public members and independent experts, who make up the HS&DR Panel and Boards.

Board and Panel members have a wide range of backgrounds and bring considerable experience and expertise, ranging from healthcare and research professionals to members of the public who use NHS services.

Applications to the researcher-led workstream will be considered by the HS&DR (Health Services Research) Board, which will assess both outline and full proposals.

Outline applications to the commissioned workstream will be considered by the HS&DR (Healthcare Delivery Research) Panel. Those that go forward to full proposal stage will then be assessed by the HS&DR (Healthcare Delivery Research) Board.
