Concordat to Support Research Integrity

In July 2012, the new Concordat to Support Research Integrity was published. The concordat, managed by Universities UK (UUK), sets out five commitments that all those involved with research should make to ensure that UK research continues to meet the highest standards of rigour and integrity.

Carbon Reduction

NETSCC has been commissioned to develop NIHR-wide guidelines on reducing carbon expenditure in health research. This builds on the success of a project to calculate the carbon expenditure of a sample of HTA clinical trials.

MRC Clinical Trials Portfolio

NETSCC is working on behalf of the MRC and NIHR to manage the MRC portfolio of late phase clinical studies. Some of these studies are within the remit of the EME Programme and others relate to the remit of the HTA Programme.
